Problems Solved

1) Periods.... Confused Girly

I'm nearly 14 and I have had my periods for about 2 years now, when I first started the cycle was around 30-35 days, gradually as time went on they went down to 28...now 2 years later they've started to go to 24. My last one was 24 and the one I've just got is 24 days....I know its confusing but how the hell am I meant to predict my period when they are everywhere?! In my magazine it says that periods should settle after a year or 2 into a cycle, is there something wrong? Please help because I am so not asking my mum! *embarrassing* Reply

Don't ask your Mum then. Ask your Dad and then see who is embarrassed! Reply

As long as they're around the same time...like not coming one month around 10 days and the next around 30. If you keep on having them at 24 days, then it's regular too. All you want is to be regular right?.... but ask your mum too.. I'm sure she'll be delighted to help you figure this out. Reply

They can still move around. Things like being very stressed or going abroad can set the cycle a bit off too. Try keeping a diary, or sticking a special sticker or secret code letter on a calendar on the dates that you come on and off - this may help you to predict what's going on. Cookie -x- Reply

Some good advice here. Forget what magazines say! It is a fact that some women never have regular periods. If you are so concerned go to your Dr they sometimes prescribe the pill to help regulate periods. Reply
