I feel really bad because when I was in town today I bought a deodorant! I told my mum and she laughed and said I shouldn't have got it. I don't know what to do! I'm 10. Reply

Maybe she'd rather you'd have talked to her about it. If you felt that you needed it maybe she felt that she could have got it for you, and that you needn't be spending your pocket money on it. She may have laughed because she felt you were concerned about something you needn't be, or because you felt it was something that you had to go out and do by yourself. Perhaps she feels that you're just doing it because you want to feel grown up. Why not explain to her that you bought it because you're worried about smelling sweaty. Reply
