Symptons:

Often none, but may include: 

• a short flu-like illness
• tiredness
• feeling sick
• being sick
• loss of appetite
• weight loss
• jaundice (yellow skin) 
• itchy skin

How is it passed on?

Usually through contaminated food or water, but also through any sexual activity that could bring the mouth into contact with poo (eg. anal sex, fingering).

Long Term Effects

Usually none.
