Cytomegalovirus

Pronounced: "Sy-to-ma-galla-virus"

Symptons:

Usually none, but may cause: a rash, fever and sore throat.

How is it passed on?

Close body contact, such as kissing or unprotected sex.

Long Term Effects

For people with HIV it can cause serious health problems and potentially blindness. Can also cause serious problems for an unborn baby if developed for the first time during pregnancy.
