Period advice please Bex
I have been getting white stuff in my knickers for about 6 or 7 months now and my mum said it's my periods but I have also been getting pains in my tummy for ages too and I still haven't started. In this book about periods this girl said that if you get white bits in your knickers then it's your periods and you will start in about 6 months it already been 7 months and I still haven't started. Can anyone give me any advice on what to do because I'm really scared that I'm ill or something like that! Reply

I'm
sure you're fine! It's perfectly healthy to get a little bit of discharge before
you start. 6-7 months is an estimate, it could be soon, it may be a little while
yet, but you can be sure it'll come sooner of later. It's certainly nothing to
be worried or scared about.
If your discharge changes colour, burns or itches then tell your go to the doctor! Reply
