about it hurting Cookie
Some women get stomach, back or kidney cramps during their periods (the medical name is dysmenorrhoea - what a long word, but sounds serious, doesn't it?!). Some also suffer PMT which is a few minor symptoms on the lead-up week, and more tummy pains and headaches (great!).
If you think you might be caught out, then it's best to be prepared. Put a pad or two in a pencil case or something, and keep it in the bottom of your bag, so that you've got it if you need it. It'll make it much less embarrassing and messy if you aren't at home when you start.
Really
though, there is nothing to worry
about.
