My
mates don't
seem to want to speak to me online. Also, I have
this friend whose
mate died recently and I try to ask if she’s feeling OK but she tells me to
get lost. I'm worried about her. What should I do? Reply

Your friend is grieving, don’t take what she says seriously if she says nasty
things. Death is so traumatic for some people but some people just get over
their loss quickly. Give your mate some space until you think she is ready to
get on with her life.
With your other mates. THINK. Are they really your mates? Do you phone them more often then they phone you? I would sit and talk with them about it. If it keeps going on think about getting some real friends. Reply

Is
it just on line your mates have stopped talking to you? Have you tried talking
face-to-face?
It
sounds like your friend is having a rough time. She may not feel ready to talk
about it yet, but if you let her know that you're there for her then if she
wants to talk then she will when she feels ready to. Don't try to make her talk
about it if she doesn't want to - she may feel that it's none of your business,
and she wants to deal with it in her own way. I guess you feel that her bottling
it all up won't help, but it may just be her way of coping.
