5) Teased for being vegetarian Wallaby
All my mates make fun of me because I'm a vegetarian and say its stupid to feel the way I do about animals. I try to tell them to stop and that I don't like them being so mean, but they say it's "just a joke". Then they wave meat in front of my face and say stuff like "Oooh... it's a cow", or start making animal noises with it. I hate it, but they just don't understand how much it bothers me. Please help. It's one of those things us veggies have to put up with, being teased by people who don't understand. Remember though, it isn't just you, lots of veggies have that problem. Just stay calm, and walk away. At least be satisfied in the knowledge that you're not eating an animal. Don't show them that it bothers you, and they'll leave you alone when they realise that you're serious.
By
showing that you aren't interested then they'll give up and find something
better to do with their beef sandwiches, like eat them, for example!
