Problems Solved
12) Vegetarian hair dyes Hanna
I've recently become vegetarian. My mum sprang on me that someone she knew stopped dying her hair black because she was vegan and couldn't find a black dye that hadn't been tested on animals. I am against animal testing and black hair is something I've wanted for years now. So does anyone know of a dye (semi permanent or permanent because I have blonde hair) that is animal friendly? If anyone can help me I will love you forever! Reply

Herbatint
makes colours that cover grey and don't test on animals: may work on blonde
hair?
Henna
dyes... but that would probably make blonde hair a fiery orange, which I'm
guessing isn't the look you're after!
'Punk
Rock' hair dye isn't tested on animals.
Aveda
salons use vegan products.
And, best of all, Jerome Russell products are in fact vegan!:
"We do not test our products on
animals, nor do we use animals in our ingredients. Our hair dyes are all
vegetable dyes. We also have a line of hair products called B Wild. This is our
line to support the big tiger foundation. We take a portion of the proceeds and
donate them to this great cause."
(I think these sound like the best bet!).
re: ADVICE Chow
I
love you! Thank you so much... I tried searching on google and it only came up
with henna, which apparently washes out easily and can be quite patchy, fiery
orange would be quite cool but I'm really looking for black. I am so happy, It's
actually possible again! * dances for joy and copy and pastes message *.
