Missy - "I love them, and want them, but my Dad won’t let me."

Abbi -  "I have my lip pierced, which looks pretty good now its kind of had chance to settle, but no tattoos - I don’t think I would be brave enough!!! I think that as long as you don’t go over the top it looks great!"

Andy -  "Lots of my ex girlfriends have had piercings in various places, and I think it can look quite sexy. In saying that, that’s true only in moderation, The excessive look just looks too... weird."

Laura - "I want my nose pierced, I am 17 but my parents are way too strict about that kind of thing. By the way, does your nose bleed when it is pierced because I am really squeamish? I think they are great but I think they might get a little stupid as we get older!!!"

Carol - "I used to have my ears pierced, but the silly holes closed up! I don't mind people who have them, I just don't like the extremes (piercings everywhere they can get them). I think loads looks disgusting."

Rosie - "Piercings can be good if you don’t have to many. Too many and you just look like a jewellery shop."

Tallie - "I'd like to get a piercing (apart from my ears) but I don't know what would suit me... Although sometimes tattoos can get a bit excessive (like that LeopardMan guy) if it's done tastefully it can look really nice."

Tammy - "I think they are good...if you don’t go over the top, because once you get to a certain point it just looks tacky. I have my belly button pierced and my ears pierced twice on both sides though, and I’m thinking of getting my nose pierced as well, because it looks quite cool."

Sally - "I got my belly and ears pierced, which didn’t hurt."

Heather - "I approve of them. . I've got my ears pierced and I'm having my eyebrow pierced soon."

Rainbow – “I've had my ears one twice now {above each other} and I just got my second ones done yesterday {Friday} and they didn't hurt at all! I was really nervous but it was fine, honest. I jumped a bit as the gun went in but it didn’t hurt!”

Alex – “ I got a cartilage piercing at Christmas and I didn't care for it very good and the skin around the earring started building up around the stick.”

Hanna – “I have none. I don’t want anything pierced on me. I don’t even have my ears pierced. I think it’s quite pointless and it’s a waste of money.”

Hayley – “Ears... I might get more done when I’m older. My friend has got her ears done three times, her labret, her belly, her eyebrow and her nose.”

Angellica – “I have my ears pierced once. I wouldn't want anywhere else done though.”

Fearne - "I really want my nose done...but my dad would flip!!!! I’m contemplating getting it done anyway though!"

Flora - "My dad hates all piercings. Calls it mutilation. But it’s my nose and my eyebrow."

Ella - "I hate that one pair of stud earrings only rule. I mean it steals our individuality."

Talis – "I’ve always wanted my eyebrow or my belly-button pierced... it would be so cool! If I got one at my school they'd all be asking to touch it (which might hurt quite a bit actually...). Anyway I’ll probably never get one because it would most likely get infected...yuck...and wouldn’t it hurt a lot???"

Frankie - "I've got two on each lobe and one on the top of my left ear. I'm a big believer in freedom of expression through clothes."

Marnie - "I want my nose pierced, but I'm going to wait a bit."

Jody - "I really want an eyebrow piercing and a nose piercing, they both look so cool! But the trouble is, my nose is going through a bad phase so if I got it pierced the spots would get worse and I'd be murdered at school. And if I had an eyebrow piercing I'd be murdered too. I go to a posh all girls school where the only piercings you’re allowed are in your ear lobes, and only one piercing in each lobe. Boring!"

Phoebe - "Yeah, same here I want the top part of my ear pierced, but I can't because I go to a posh all girls school too."

Polly - "I want my eyebrow pierced too. Mum keeps lecturing me about it. I won't have it done until she has no control over it!"

Connie - "Yeah cartilage piercings are cool. But apparently they can collapse your ear if they're not done right."

TJ – “Eyebrow piercings rock. My mum doesn’t mind me wanting one, but I can’t have it because of school. It sucks!”

Joanna - "I know how you feel. I go to a posh all girls school to, and you can’t wear ANY jewellery including earrings. They say wearing earrings is a hazard. But how can a little stud be dangerous?"

Carla – “The only jewellery we can wear is stud earrings, a watch and a cross necklace or other religious necklace“

Danni – “I’ve always wanted my lip and eyebrow pierced but my parents are a but weird about it.”

Carrie – “I want my eyebrow done as well. I also want my lip done, but on the left side.”

Flick – “I go to a posh all girls school and we're only allowed one piercing in each ear lobe and that's it!”

Faye – “Yeah I want a nose piercing but dad would go mental. I think that eyebrow piercing looks cool but on guys. I’ve just got my ears down three times. I want to get my helix and tragus done.”

Lily – “I want my eyebrow done!”

Rainbow – “It could go green and manky if it goes wrong!”

Zee – “I wouldn't have my eyebrow done. I think it looks really tacky.”

Ellen – “I doubt I'd be allowed my belly button pierced. A lot of my friends have, but I don't want to do it because of them, I just think it looks nice. But I'd rather have it when I'm older actually and I am in no hurry.”

Nina – “I have two piercings in each ear, at the bottom but would like one right at the top aswell.”

Polly – “Belly Button piercing looks kinda cool, but I heard about this girl, and it went right through her stomach, not the belly button, the stomach; ewww.”

Britney – “I got my belly done, and I have a nose ring, a lip ring and 6 piercings in each of my ears. I don’t know what to have done next – any ideas?”

Jean – “Lip-ring? So cool! I wanted one too, but I heard it hurts loads, so I’ve kinda gone off the idea...”

:) – “I personally don't like belly piercings, but I like it when people have three piercings in their ears! It’s so funky!”

Kassie – “A lot of girls have Belly piercings at my school. I think they look nice on slim girls. I’m not saying that bigger girls shouldn’t have the done or anything but I don’t think I would suit one. Actually I kinda fancy one now, but it looks painful...”

Jill – “My aunty has her belly pierced (don’t worry she's not really old, she’s 25), and she says that it didn’t hurt at all because they freeze it first somehow and then do it. She has some really cool accessories like belly chains etc. I think they look better on toned stomachs and slim figures as well.”

Hattie – “I’m not even allowed my ears pierced! Nearly every one in my year had them since year 7! It’s not fair!”

Helen – “I want my belly done.. I’ve got my ears pierced twice at the bottom and want the top done, but people say it hurts so I’m not sure…”

Imogene – “I want my ears done all the way round, maybe 7 in each, my eyebrow, and my belly done at the bottom.”

Tallie – “I want to get 2 piercings in my ears! Or 3 or 4!!!”

Rochelle – “I have two piercings on the bottom of my ears too. I want my belly button pierced, but I’m not allowed... I could get it done behind my mum's back, but if she found out she'd make me take it out...”

Frankie – “I have my belly button pierced. It actually doesn't hurt that bad, and the bit of pain is worth it.”

Superwoman - "I have my ears pierced once, and my belly pierced. I love my belly piercing, it looks so nice, but to anyone reading thinking of getting one, or who has just got one CLEAN IT WELL. Use half a bottle cap of salt in a coke sized bottle or boiled (and cooled) water. Also use antiseptic wipes. it may be a pain in the but at the time, but you wont regret it."

Helen - "I have my belly button pierced but i only got it done a few years ago when i was 15!"

Katy - "Has anyone here got their tongue pierced? I really want to get mine done but if I'm honest I'm terrified of the pain, I know it's going to hurt I just don't know how much. If you have you got your tongue pierced reply please and let me know what happened when you had it done and honestly did it hurt and how much - was it unbearable and did anyone pass out (lol)?"

Nat - "I would never get my tongue pierced. I only have my ears pieced in the normal places and that was painful enough (I have thick earlobes, it seems). My friends were all oh it'll hurt like a hard pinch for about 10 minutes. Yeah, sure. I had a constant throbbing on either side of my head for about 3 hours. I also find the whole idea of having a pieced tongue really weird. No idea why."

Ben - "I don't think it's worth the pain, even if there's hardly any pain. It's up to you though. "

Flo - "My sister had hers done and it wore away all the enamel on her teeth then she got big blisters in her mouth then 1 day it popped - yuck! I would think twice before having it done ."

Hana - "I like them, but not tons of then, do you think i have 2 much pierced? ive got 3 holes in each ear, my belly button and my tongue, is that alot?. What are your opinions on piercings?"

Ben - "I don't like them. "

Rosie - "I have 11, 7 visible ones. I also have 2 flesh tubes (like stretched piercings) in my ears and they're both 6mm. I don't go in for the belly button piercings myself, I think its too widespread now. I think piercings are just another way to express yourself, as people do with clothes and hairstyles. I know piercings are a more permanent way of doing it. Each of my piercings mark a significant time in my life. I treasure them and without them I wouldn't be the same person. Without my metal in I feel naked and incomplete.

Rosie - "People judge me on my appearance and have preconceptions that I'm going to be an aggressive person but that's as far from the truth as you can get. I have my normal brown hair and my unthreatening makeup and my conventional clothes, I just happen to have a lot of metal in my body. I'm currently planning my 12th and 13th piercing, and some tattoos. as I keep saying to my Mum, its not body mutilation, its body modification."

Cori - "I don't really wear my belly button jewellery anymore, as I think its to common aswell"

Lisa - "I like piercings, although a lot I think are just really common, the ones you have aren't too many, I know people with a LOT more. I have two on each lobe, one on the top of the right ear and my nose."
