What is Thrush?

Thrush (Candida Albicans) is not transmitted sexually. It is caused by a yeast that normally lives harmlessly on the skin, or in the mouth, gut and vagina, without causing any problems.

But it can worsen or become more obvious after sex. It’s just your bodies way of telling you it’s noticed something different.

Treatment:

There are lots of over the counter treatments for thrush. You can use a cream or swallow a tablet. Girls can also use a pessary which is a tablet you push up into your vagina.#
