What did you think about the individual actor's performances? Did the new director do the film justice?

What did you think of the new costumes?

What did you think about Harry hugging Hermione? Is there a spark between Hermione and Ron?

Tell us what you think!

Have you seen the new Harry Potter film, The Prisoner of Azkaban?

Maddy - "I haven't seen it and don't intend to."

Emer - "I saw it this afternoon and it was fantastic!"

Kate - "I've literally just got back from seeing it."

Juliana - "My cousins couldn't stop talking throughout the whole movie so I went to see it again with my mates cos' they had a extra ticket!!"

Vicky - "I went to see it today."

Helena - "The fact that I have seen it hasn't even sunken in yet!! It was one heck of a magical adventure!!"

Charlotte - "I have just come back from it and it was wicked!"

Loni - "Yeah! By far the best one yet. All the tickets in my cinema had been sold out!"

Hamna - "Just saw the film this morning! It was cool!!"

Emma - "Harry Potter was really good. I've seen it twice."

Danni - "I saw PoA on Monday."

What did you think?

Louisa - "I thought it was absolutely fantastic!!"

Hannah - "think this is the best film yet."

Emer - "It was fantastic!"

Amy - "It was good!"

Colleen - "I can't describe how the movie was, it was so good! It was a bit scary but the teenage style to the movie was fab!"

Ben - "It was awesome. My favourite bit was near the end where Ron is in the hospital wing and Harry and Hermione have just rescued Sirius and Buckbeak!"

Lily - "It was great!!!"

Simon - "I think this film was very rushed and if you hadn't read the book you would be very confused!"

Harriet - "It was fantastic! I really enjoyed it. The movie was the best of the 3."

Catherine - "The first 2 films were better."

Kavita - "One word...CLASSIC. Just beautiful."

Kate - "It was so cool, it was a bit slow at the beginning, and dragged a bit, but after a while it picked up and was well good! Some of the things Ron said were just classic! The ending was weird though, and kinda sad when Lupin just walked out the classroom, leaving poor Harry all on his lonesome!"

Juliana - "I loved it, it was the most exhilarating movie ever! I recommend this movie to anybody - it was hectic!"

Tiffany - "Wow! It was one of the best films at the cinema apart from Van Helsing, that was good too!"

Caitlyn - "I HATED IT!!!! It was sooooooooo boring!!!!"

Vicky - "I thought it was fantastic! The best by far!"

Krissy - "I think the film was okay. Personally, I think that the first 2 films were better than this one. I suppose this one is darker and more menacing, but the book and the screenplay of the film didn't fit in. There was too much of them going around the school rather than attending their lessons. It didn't have a continuity and all the scenes looked separate. Overall, I did like this film but not as much as the first 2."

Helena - "Fantastic!!!"

Ryan - "It was amazing - by far the best. The graphics, sets, fast paced action and the progression of Daniel Radcliffe and co made it a very tense but exciting two hours."

Charlotte - "It had changed a lot, but in this case change was good."

Joseph - "It was great! There was hardly any Quidditch but is was still the best of the three. Now I can't wait for the fourth one!"

Lindy - "I thought it was very good but things seem to happen very fast like the part where Black, Harry, Lupin and the others are in the haunted house, they should have spent more time explaining that. Apart from that the film was good."

Emma - "I think this film was the best one. It was very funny and the acting was so much better. I would go and see it again."

Adam - "Seriously cool and funny!!! It was great."

Gina - "The best Harry Potter film yet by far!! It was very scary! But very funny too. The Dementors were very scary specially their mouths. I so want to see this film again - it rocks!"

Joseph - "Very good and I like the part when Harry deflects the Dementors with Lupin!"

Hannan - "It was better than the first two. Better effects and stuff. The Dementors are soo cool!!! I'd definitely recommend it, even to HP haters 'coz it's sooo great."

Aston - "The film was brilliant. The special effects are fantastic. Unfortunately there isn't enough Quidditch! It's a Hagrid sized hit!"

Hamna - "The Dementors were scary but Sirius was even more frightening with his beard!!!"

Jacob - "It was fabulous! The Dementors were really scary. One thing though, there wasn't enough Quidditch!"

James - "It was really good! The dementor's where creepy, but the ending with Harry on his broomstick WAS THE MOST STUPID ENDING EVER! HE GETS THE FIREBOLT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BOOK! Good film though!

Caz - "I loved POA, but it was a bit rushed. My fave bit was the end with the werewolf when Hermione howls to distract it <hoooooooooooooooooooowwwl>

Fleur – “I think it's my favourite film and it has the best plot I've ever seen!”

Rachel – “This third instalment of Harry Potter is by far the best. There is so much more going on in the film than the last 2 films.”

Shelly –“ I’ve got to tell you, POA is my favourite book of all time and I really enjoyed the film. It was really good. It doesn’t really matter that they left parts out in the film because we’ve got the book, an we know it well enough!”

Rachel – “The film is pure excitement from the beginning to the end. My sister thought it was confusing. But only a true Harry Potter fan would understand the story and understand it fully. This whole film is a sure hit and I will be watching it again.”

Fran – “I think it looks like the best Potter movie so far. It looks a lot darker and creepier. The third book is brilliant so the film has just got to be better!”

Madeline – “Compared to the Chamber of Secrets and Philosopher's Stone it's really dark and more scary!”

Lydia – “This movie is AMAZING! I was SO into it from the opening WB sign right to the last credits! Everyone go see it, but make sure you've got someone who won't mind you practically sitting on them because you are so scared/excited/happy!”

Katie – “The movie is VERY creepy!! Eeeks!! I hate the Dementors. They're so well creepy too!!”

Did it do the book justice?

Maddy - " The first two ruined the books for me, and I can't take that again. Why they made film versions in the first place is pretty stupid to me, because it's just ruined the books!"

Hannah - "They shouldn't have left out the animagus part."

Emer - "I think The Dementors were so cool! Not much Quidditch though."

Amy - "It has changed a lot! It seemed rushed a bit! I wish there was more Quidditch in it!!"

Lily - "The Dementors were so scary! Too bad they wasn't much Quidditch!!!"

Simon - "I would have liked to see more Quidditch."

Harriet - "Just like everyone else I think the Dementors were really scary."

Catherine - "The characters have changed completely and not a lot of the story was explained."

Charlie - "Where was the Quidditch??????????"

Tiffany - "The Dementors were spooky and creepy and Harry and the gang had changed but it still rocks!"

Caitlyn - "The first 2 had a lot of action but this 1 didn't have hardly any action. There was only about 5mins of Quidditch!!"

Michael - "Although they missed a few scenes, and got the plot wrong a bit, it was still great!"

Ashleigh - "It was brilliant. I preferred the film than the last 2 films. Everything was well done and Hermione was a bit more girlish to."

Vicky - "I loved it!! It really was fantastic!! It was very different from the other 2 films!! I give the film 10 out of 10! and I am definitely seeing it again, and I will be getting the DVD the moment it comes out!! It was a lot darker than the other two films as in all the interviews everyone has said! But anyway if you have not seen it yet, go and see it! It really is fab!!!"

Ryan - "I do feel that the storyline was changed around more than the other two - the Hogsmead trips mingled, the shrieking shack scenes should have been longer, explaining the story and more about Quidditch!!"

Sara - "Some bits were boring but it was more darker than the last two and explained the book better."

Emma - "I think the best bits were when the Fat Lady wouldn't let Seamus into the common room...that was so funny (lol) and when on the night bus with Lenny Henry as that guy with dreadlocks, that was wicked..."

Moby - "They didn't have the bit when Sirius comes into the common room or when Harry first sees the Firebolt in Diagon Alley. The Firebolt came way to late, in fact it was at the end."

Dan - "I really do think the shrieking shack scene was too short as well, and you couldn't even tell Harry's patronus was a stag. What I don't understand is that the film was shorter then the other two, so I guess we wouldn't have minded 15 extra minutes to have a bit more info on Lupin, the patronus and the map!! Oh well, it was still very good and much better then the other two!!"

Angel - "It missed the most important part, like on the train when Harry gets the permission form from Sirius, which is brought by a little owl, which Ron keeps! It missed loads, though the parts it DID have we absolutely wicked!"

Dani - "My friend hasn't read the book and she didn't understand a thing. I tried explaining it to her but it was too complicated (...so I gave up and told her to read the book, which she is doing!)."

Angela - "It would have been better if they ended on the train, and the beginning in the Dursleys house was dead short! Also, in the book, Marge didn't go outside when she floated - in the film she did!

Shelly -  “The time turner and Shrieking Shack were brilliant!“

Rachel – “The knight bus scenes are cool and the Dementors and scary but great to watch.

Jade – “I've seen the film already, and it's good but I think there's too much darkness and the confrontation between Peter Pettigrew, Sirius Black and Harry is not strong enough. It should have more emotion.”

What did you think about the individual actor's performances?

Louisa - "Even though I was sceptical about David Thewlis portraying my favourite character (Professor Lupin) I think he brought exactly the right depth of feeling to it."

Lily - "Dan, Emma & Rupert were fantastic!"

Simon - "I think Daniel Radcliffe's acting has improved a lot."

Harriet - "Emma Watson (Hermione) did really well in this movie."

Catherine - "The acting has improved."

Vicky - "I thought how all the young actors had improved and become more confident in them[selves]."

Krissy - " The actors did brilliantly especially Gary Oldman as Sirius Black.Daniel was good, Ron was as funny as ever and Hermione was okay too."

Rachel – “Harry, Ron and Hermione's characters have grown and developed so much - even the people who play them.”

Jade – “The acting is great, although Emma Watson gave a good performance, Dan Radcliffe's was good at some points but a bit wooden at times, but he has improved. He's a great actor.”

Guurpritt - “I think that Harry, Ron and Hermione are becoming very different e.g. they look completely different from the first movie. I think it is time for a change.”

Madeline – “Gosh, the actors have grown up a lot!”

Did the new director do the film justice?

Hannah - "The new director was great."

Simon - "I think the new director has tried to make the film his own by mixing things up. Lots of important things were cut and I think it would have been a much better film if Chris Columbus was the director."

Catherine - "The new director has changed too much of the story"

Kavita - "I really hope Alfonso comes back for the 5th movie - he did a splendid job on this one."

Caitlyn - "The new director ruined it!"

Helena - "Alfonso has certainly given this film a bit more of spice but still kept the magic of the book!!!"

Ryan - "Alfonso has done himself proud in my opinion."

Daniel - "Personally, I think Alfonso ruined the film. The directors, I think, should be allowed to change storylines slightly, to fit in with their timings and things, but they shouldn't change the characters... which they did."

Did it meet your expectations?

Simon - "I was very disappointed with the outcome of the film."

Caitlyn - "I was very disappointed!!"

Ashleigh - "I thought it was brilliant and it was much darker then the last two the hippogriff was exactly how I imagined it. Also the Quidditch match was excellent but the Dementors were really scary"

Moby - "I think it was good, but could have been better."

Felton - "Am I the only person who thought the film was a bit rushed and they didn't give all the info they where supposed to? Like how Lupin knew how to work the map and why Harry's Patronus was a stag. And the Shrieking Shack scene was way too short. But I could just think this because I had really high expectations."

What did you think of the new costumes?

Colleen - "I'm so going to copy Hermione Granger aka Emma Watson's clothes! The only part I didn't like was when Hermione said 'Is that what my hair looks like from the back?' I thought that wasn't Hermione's character."

Juliana - "I think Daniel Radcliffe was cool with his own clothes!"

Krissy - "Hermione wasn't AT ALL the Hermione in the book. She was going around wearing that pink top."

Daniel - "The children in POA wore their school uniform ONCE throughout the whole film. The other time we saw them, they wore their own clothes. One of the disappointing main things was that Hermione was strutting around wearing a pink top. Hermione is the girl who wears bobbly hats and scarves which she knits for elves!"

Jacob - "I love the cool clothes they wear now."

Fairy - "I was so pleased to see that Dan's hair was messy for once in POA, because in the first two films its been dead flat and nothing like how Harry's hair should be."

Fran – “The characters wear cooler clothes.”

What did you think about Harry hugging Hermione? Is there a spark between Hermione and Ron?

Vicky - "I think this director really hinted more on the Harry, Ron and Hermione growing up, which really made it good! Looking forward to film 4!"
